The well-known UFC veteran John Dodson will try to comeback from his last fight against Cody Gibson (17-7) at XMMA 3 in 2021.
This will be only his second fight since he left the UFC in late 2020 after a loss by unanimous decision against Merab Dvalishvili (11-4-0). He kept a record of ten wins and seven losses. He had two main event fights against Demetrious Johnson (15-2-1) in 2013 and 2015. Dodson was also the champion of the Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale in 2021.
He was supposed to be the main event of XMMA 2 in July 2021, but he and his family was involved in a serious car accident between New Mexico and Texas. All the members of the family had to go at the hospital but fortunately, none of them was seriously injured. He said later in an interview: “We’re just lucky no one died”
Francisco Rivera Jr. is well known in the MMA world, he went to the Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale and lost against Reuben Duran in 2011. He also had ten fights in the UFC from 2012 to 2016 for a 4-5-0 record
The veteran fighter is going to fight at his second XMMA event, after winning in a stylish way by defeating the uprising star Ryan Lilley with a right hook in the first round of XMMA 1.
Since then, he went fighting at Combate Global in Miami. He won against Adam Martinez (7-2) and Nohelin Hernandez (11-4). He will try to bounce back from his last lost against David Martinez (5-1)
